When time slows down

Posted on November 28, 2019November 28, 2019

When time slows down the sky appears more colorful, the clouds more fascinating, the trees more intricate.

When time slows down the chasms of our differences seem to shrink, making room in our hearts for gratitude and joy.

When time slows down one can see the clear evidence of the invisible wind, on the water, in the the air, scattering leaves, stinging the cheeks, gently making waves or wisps.

When time slows down it leaves room for appreciation; affection for the rhythms of nature and the majesty of creation, even in the onset of winter and the bitter cold of ice and snow. We are alive!
